Women’s Wellness Intensive:
Rooted and Resilient
Immerse yourself in nature for a guided experience to recharge, center your needs, and reconnect to your intuition.
Women’s Wellness Intensives
This program is a multi-day event focused on immersive learning and connecting with like-minded individuals in a beautiful and emotionally safe space. Hosted at Bog Pond Farm, located outside of Rangeley in Western Maine, and limited to 12 participants.
In our upcoming program, you will learn and practice strategies for managing anxiety and burnout and leave the farm with an individualized action plan for translating what you’ve learned into applicable skills for your day-to-day life.
This program is for women struggling with feeling stuck, busy prioritizing others' needs, and who dream about hiking with confidence, building a cabin in the woods, or starting a homestead. You know you need a break but worry about feeling more overwhelmed if you step away.
We want to offer you that respite, PLUS the tools to manage your stress better so you step back into your life with more confidence, skills, and strategies. Return home reacquainted with your own intuition, grounded, and able to prioritize your well being while holding space for the needs of others.
Our intensive combines outdoor facilitated group learning activities with guided self-reflection to help you experience how it might feel, look, and sound to take care of yourself while caring for your responsibilities and relationships. Connect with other relatable women, guided by an energetic and down-to-earth facilitation team who will make sure you feel cared for and empowered. We'll invite you to join our scheduled group activities, but you will always be free to grab a cup of tea and a snack, find a place in our gorgeous woodland setting, and just take some time for yourself if that's what you need at any time.

Easy one mile hike to our hidden rocky beach along the Sandy River for afternoon group expressive activity
As we hike to our gorgeous river setting, we will learn about the available edible and medicinal plants along the way and practice ethical foraging to contribute to our afternoon tea. Reconnecting to our natural world helps up to rebuild our relationship to ourselves as part of our ecosystems and communities, as well as improve our confidence in moving through the world around us.
Alongside the flowing water, we will create an image or sculpture with found objects in order to externalize our stories through art. Sharing this creative process allows for a deepening understanding of our experience of stress and finding possibilities and perspectives to shift our relationship to our perceived problems.

Kitchen medicine and fire cider class
Fire cider is emblematic of what happened with herbalism and the American medical system that we live in built upon the suppression of the communal knowledge of healing and the land. We create this cider as an introduction to healing medicinals and an act of empowerment and resistance. We reclaim our ability to use our shared knowledge and abilities to nurture and care for ourselves and our communities.
Fire skills and safety workshop - building our bonfire
Group dinner cooking together over the bonfire
Evening meal followed by group processing and integration
Closing circle and farewell for the evening.
Sunday 9 am to 12 pm - Integration

Walk with the herd at liberty to the nearby meadow
Here is where our nature work and horse work combine in an integrated walk through the forest to the scenic meadow with our herd at liberty. We will spend time connecting with what we've learned and experienced in order to complete personal wellness plans for beyond the farm while the horses graze with us by the pond.
As we return from our integrated meadow walk with the herd, we'll say goodbye to our animal partners and transition to our final tea time and closing circle together.
