Tools for S.A.D. Wellness Walk
January 14, 10-12pm
Cormier Woods
Seasonal Affect Disorder, or S.A.D., can be heavy this time of year. Join us in this inclusive environment to get outside to practice and learn strategies for managing symptoms. During this hike, we will take multiple stops on the trails to explore challenges around motivation, isolation, self-care, and de-stigmatization facilitated by Green Button Counseling and The Trustees.
Cormier Woods boasts a quintessential 1800s New England agricultural landscape and small-scale farmstead, replete with an historic house, and barn. For this hike, we will be taking the 1.4-mile Albee Trail through woodlands and along wetlands. If the trail is icy due to weather conditions, we will have extra traction cleats available to borrow.
