Nature Based Wellness - Wellness Walks
Green Button specializes in facilitating partnerships between participants and nature to find meaningful healing and health. Reach out for information and scheduling for individualized personal or small group Wellness Walk programs.
Experiential Programming At the Barn
Shagin works with partners to provide the equine-assisted therapy and learning component of the practice. Equine assisted therapy is an evidence-based service with equines: horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules.
Shagin is certified in EAGALA, an unmounted therapeutic model, as both an Equine Specialist and a Mental Health Specialist, facilitating with horses, for both learning and healing.
EAGALA, or Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, utilizes a team approach therapeutic model. For each session, a team of at least one Mental Health Specialist and at least one Equine Specialist is present to ensure the highest quality and ethics for all parties involved. The model is an unmounted experiential modality, using projection and metaphor to explore and heal with help from equine partners. Traditional EAGALA sessions are available upon request and can be a one time compliment to talk therapy, or an ongoing format for therapeutic work, and an excellent format for workplace development and employee wellbeing.
Equine assisted learning is available; we offer equine assisted learning seminars and programs, for a variety of focuses and ages. Equine assisted programming is available for workshops and skill building retreats for clubs, businesses, and teams. Skill-building, relaxation, leadership, teamwork, and communication themed wellness and learning programs are perfect for increasing productivity for corporate teams, promoting innovative thinking and new perspectives, and improving wellbeing and connection.
Besides individual and group counseling, equine assisted therapy and learning can be utilized for team building, coaching, and leadership seminars, as well as for targeting specific challenges. Green Button Counseling offers equine assisted programs and seminars and provides customized events for your group or business. Contact us for more information, or to inquire about a customized event.
